- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪This is to let your know that bad experiences I have received at Desert Jewel Medical office in Scottsdale. I am an appointment for May 16 a few weeks ago and told them I have a new insurance which is medicare. I also told someone on the day of the appointment on the phone I have a new insurance which is Medicare. No problem. I went to the office and was told the doctor is not contracted with Medicare and I would have to pay for go somewhere else. A few years ago I have a procedure done in the office and an anesthesiologist was there. After I received a bill I found out the anesthesiologist was not in my network so I had to pay out of pocket.
